2025 Yoga Teacher Training!!

A journey of self-discovery

STARTS JANUARY 15TH

1 diversity SCHOLARSHIP left!

Registration closes 12/15

Join lead trainers, Caitlyn Williams and Stephanie Rindosh, for a 200 hour transformative journey of self-discovery and personal growth. Teacher training is way more than just learning how to teach a powerful yoga class. It’s a journey inward to connect with your most true, authentic self.

Through a blend of comprehensive workshops, posture clinics, practice teaching and self inquiry, you'll gain a deeper understanding of who you are and what truly matters to you. This training is an invitation to align your life with your values and embark on a path of yoga both on and off your mat.

Over the course of this program, you will:

LEARN TO TEACH A POWERFUL YOGA CLASS

Through guidance and practice, you will learn a set yoga sequence that blends movement, breath and mindfulness to help your students create space for transformation.

CONNECT WITH YOUR MOST TRUE, AUTHENTIC SELF

Through the study of Patanjali’s eight limbs of yoga, you will engage in a profound journey inward that transcends the yoga mat. You will reflect upon your own beliefs and values to help guide you towards alignment with your truest self.

CREATE A NEW COMMUNITY WITH LASTING FRIENDSHIPS

Embarking on our yoga teacher training journey is not just about honing your teaching skills, but also about forging a community of new friends. Together, you'll sweat, learn, and grow, supporting one another through challenges and triumphs. This community becomes a pillar of support to inspire and empower one another on this beautiful journey of self-discovery.

  • “This teacher training was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. The program is extremely well-planned, with a curriculum that is incredibly thoughtful and purposeful. The leaders are thoughtful, incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and they push you to be the best version of yourself. They foster a safe space where you can learn about yourself and grow. I am in awe of the support and community that was built. I have made friends and connections that will last a lifetime. Yoga Habit, the people, the leaders and this training have been such a gift to my life. If you are even slightly considering this program, I cannot recommend it enough.”

I feel Connected to an amazing yoga community; Connected to my breath; Connected to my body; Connected to my mind; Connected to a deeper sense of Self; and Connected to the lineage of Yoga. Jen and Caitlyn created a program that not only left me feeling prepared to lead a yoga class but also to lead myself through the teachings and practice of yoga in my everyday life.”

Yoga Habit’s community is contagious in the best way — it’s an extremely supportive, inspirational and kindhearted community full of people from all walks of life which made spending 200 hours at the yoga studio extra special and I couldn’t be more grateful. This entire training experience has been full of personal growth and incredible memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you, Yoga Habit.”

  • “Yoga teacher training absolutely exceeded every expectation I had. Not only did it provide me education and confidence to share the practice of yoga with others, but it also invited a deep, personal exploration of myself. Every weekend challenged me physically, emotionally and spiritually in the best possible way. The program has opened me to a new world I am incredibly excited to keep exploring.”

    —Lynn M

  • “The transformation this yoga teacher training provided is a gift. I grew as a yoga practitioner, teacher, and person. I learned lessons about myself, the world, and the practice of yoga that have cast a new light on the way I think about things. Also, the community space cultivated through the training is unmatched. I am so grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait to continue to see what these newly planted ideas, skills, and connections bloom into.“

PROMISED OUTCOMES of training:

  • Our first weekend together we study the history of pre and post modern yoga so you have an understanding of the lineage of yoga and where our power yoga practice comes from.

  • We’ll explore each posture in our yoga sequence in detail. You’ll watch videos to help understand general alignment for all bodies, common misalignments and ways to modify. You’ll then understand how to cue effectively to create better alignment, strength and ease in each person’s body.

  • Each weekend we explore different parts of the body such as the spine, shoulders, hips, muscles, nervous system, fascia and respiratory system.

  • We’ll dive into the power of our breath and it’s capacity to change our nervous system. We will practice different pranayama techniques.

  • We will learn about what mindfulness is and the various ways to practice it on and off our yoga mats.

  • We learn about trauma and how each person who comes to our yoga class will experience our words and touch in different ways. We learn how to tailor our power yoga classes to be trauma aware so that everyone has a sense of safety in our classes.

  • We’ll spend a whole weekend learning the art of hands-on assists within the different categories of asanas in our sequence. We’ll discuss consent and our system that we use at Yoga Habit to receive permission from students.

  • Our yoga sequence is an all levels sequence, however, learning how to modify many of the poses and the flow to meet beginners where they are is important. You’ll create a modified sequence just for beginners to put into action right out of training.

  • Each of our yoga classes ends with a restorative sequence so you’ll learn what restorative and yin yoga are, the differences between the two and how this part of class and the Slow Flow + Restore classes are so helpful for our nervous system.

  • We’ll explore all the different ways to use your yoga certification going forward and also touch on aspects of being a yoga instructor such as payment, taxes, insurance and marketing.

  • You’ll learn about your voice and how to fully express with both projection and inflection. You’ll learn how to communicate clearly using simple and concise wording. Most importantly, you’ll learn how to share powerfully in class to create connection with your students.

  • Each weekend together, we’ll study a different limb from Patanjali’s Eight Limbs of Yoga and a different Yama or Niyama which will help us understand that yoga is much more than just asana. This is where you will reflect on your own life and values to get closer to what truly matters to you.
